with the key turned to accesories ...nothing works ( thats supposed to work on accesories).. all the fuse labels are wore off...but i have a picture of it in the manual and i dont see any fuses labeled acc. ....but in the radio schematic in the manual it mentions one....( it says it is 20 amp)....so the question is..IS there really a fuse for the acc.? What else could be the problem? ..and where would i look for that problem?
Thanks john

The deal is i was wiring in a new radio...well everything worked fine until i turned on the accesories.......i dont have any..( i think its been this way since i got the car.....it just never bothered me)..im 100% sure i got the radio wires correct...but its more than the radio..nothing works

well i overlooked the fuse....i found the fuse...anyway i tested it and its good..i tested the power there ..and i got power at all times (acc/on/run/start/) maybe the fuse is in between the battery and the switch??.....but what am i looking for ? bad ignition switch??

mine didnt work on acc sometimes, but are you doing accessor when you trun the key backwords or just a little foreward? cause if you push the key and go backwords all the way it might work, mine did like that. good luck

im turning the key backwards.....
this might be unrelated, but yesterday when i was working on it..i turned my instrument lights on ...and they came on then quit...i assumed a fuse........but the fuse is good there ( although there was a 25A fuse in there when it is supposed to be a 5A)....there is no electricity at that fuse anyway.....

For the radio, you should have a hot at all time (orange) for the radio memory. There should another wire, usually yellow which is the fuse panel feed, and only hot when the ignition is in acc. On that note, if you have nothing when in acc., then it's either the fuse or the switch.

Check the grounds for the dash out, I beleive they are right in the area on the radio and you broke one?

yes ornage goes battery ( hot at all times) and the yellow one is supposed to be hot in Run or acc..its hot in run.but not in accesory..like i said i checked the fuse ....its good....so is it the ignition switch?
