hello
i have a wrecked mr2 supercharged and celica st.
i want to the 4agze has to many miles on it but the computer and wiring harness are in good condition the car wrecked mr2 still starts
the celica has a rebuilt c52 transmission, new clutch, slotted cross drilled rotors,bigger radiator, invader 1 body kit and a all trac hood
on 17x7.5 rims
i want too buy a used low millage 4agze and swap every thing over to the celica. im doing it my self i wanted to know
1- does the c52 bolt to the 4agze flywheel
2- would the distrubitor get in the way
3- can i use my the use the bigger radiator for the 4afe
4- can a supra fuel pump replace the celica one
5- would a all-trac hood cover the S/C intercooler
6- do i need to change the fuel pressure regulator with the swap
7- does anything from the 4afe work with the 4agze like starter, altenator, headers, intake, exhaust,
8- will it bolt on to my stock exhaust system
I have helped with several engine swaps (mainly honda's) before but this is my 1st forced inducted one, is there anything is i should worry about
please post i think i have everything figured out and im ready to purchase a 4agze motor soon

im actually alomsot done w this swap (within the next 2 weeks)
1.yes, they both use a 212mm flywheel and clutch
2. no
3.depending on what kind of header your goign to use with the 4agze head
4.yes but its a bitch to change it on the celica
5. if your using top mount, youll have to position it right, and as long as you have the grommet that comes with the hood
6.no and yes, its a good idea and i would reccomend going to 36 psi from the stock 40
7 .starter-yes alternator-yes but youll have to use the 4agze bracket. header-no it will not withought re drilling holes. intake- why woudl u use the 4afe one? you need the hose from the intercooler to hood up to it, and yes a 4age fwd manifold (prferrably from a ae-86 or early ae-92 corlla) will bolt u pbut all the rest will not.
and why are you going to purchase a new 4agze? just rebuild it, it would save you an ASSLOAD of money

glad to hear somebody else is going through this also.
i am not alone.
so from the wrecked mr2 i have have everything need from the swap
i didnt wanna rebuild because i will go turbo one day eventually.
ill rebuild after that.
