1983 Cutlass Surpreme

I got a 1983 Cutlass Surpreme with a 231(3.8 v6). If I dont let the car heat up for a while when i step on the gas pedel it cuts off. Sometimes cuts of but kicks back in, when this happens you usually hear the car misfire and kick back. Then when im driving when it shifts gears it cuts off a little bit but then comes, like when you have a stick car and dont shift right. Any body gotta clue. I replace the Fuel Filter,Spark plugs & wires.
