Hey guys, I'm back from a much too long period of not having power due to Hurricane Wilma that hit South Florida! Got some good news, and some bad news though.
Good: Worked a shit load of hours at a grocery store, so that means massive paychecks. I can see my exhaust and short shifter/symborski kit very soon :). Also, not that much damage to my house this time around.
Bad: Some damage to the car - a few dings and scratches. Nothing major. Some damage to house - pool screen enclosure support beams are broken, part of roofing is gone, but doesn't effect anything (it's a part used for ventilation). Was out of power from Monday the 24th at 8 am till Friday the 29th at 5 pm. No hot showers, so it was kinda smelly over here lol. Had to eat canned ravioli heated on the grill for 5 days lol. There was a ton of damage all over the neighborhood and everywhere else. News station is saying some areas might be out of power till November 20th! That's insane. And worst of all, I couldn't visit AF!
All in all, we got very lucky this time around. News was saying that it was a catagory 2 when it hit, but it was actually a 3. Gotta keep driving to a minimum for a while since everyone is waiting 4+ hours on line for gas to fill up their generators, which sucks. Anything big happen while I was gone? It's good to be back :smokin:

Thanks guys. We had much more damage last year. Last year, about half of our roofing tiles were blown off, which caused many water leaks. They are like an asphalt tile about maybe 5 inches by 5 inches. And our pool screen enclosure was gone. This year, roof held up much better since we had insurance pay for a new one, and same for the pool screen. My neighborhood has a lake around the back houses in the development, and every house on the lake lost their pool screens. Trees up-rooted everywhere, no stoplights working. It's crazy. Also, there is a 9pm curfew in effect which sucks ass. But, my friend Smirnoff helped pass the time at night heh :iceslolan

Wow... How much is your home owner's insurance going to go up after this Hurricane Season?! I heard that some insurance companies are pulling out of FL alltogether!

I heard the same thing and I also heard that Medicaid for the lower income class, is not really doing there part to make anything easier.
