differences???

My sister and brother in law are in the air force stationed in germany, dont they have JDM civics over there? i'm having them look for head lights and tail lights for me. Anyway my bro. in law said they have european spec. civics? Is that JDM??? I need to know soon so i can email them back...any help is really appreciated....

I'm really sure germany is JDM. As for head lights, JDM ones wont work w/us spec bumpers and hood cause their bigger than stock.

Tail lights will fit the same though right?

Well, technically it's EDM, but most parts are the same as JDM.
The hood and bumpers are the same so I can't see why the headlights won't fit.
Only difference is that we have only one bulb in the headlights (H4) and one bulb in the corner lights.
Maybe you were talking EDM VT (SiR) lights? They won't fit because of SiR hood and bumper.
The taillights are also the same as the JDM 's so they should fit fine.

As far as I know the right one is the same as the USDM Civic.

okay, now are we talking about putting EDM head lights on a USDM 4g? And if EDM lights will fit, whats the diff between EDM/jdm and the ZC front end? 'cause I know for sure there is a diff in the ZC front than the usdm front

Ok, I don't know about the JDM ZC front end, but the EDM ZC front end is the same as the lower models front end which are the same as the USDM front ends. (except for the bump in the hood)
The only car which has a different front end in Europe is the VT (SiR).
So I'm pretty sure you can exchange headlights as long as they are not from a VT.

the edm/jdm front end is much different from the usdm front, the lights, hood, bumper and fenders are all different.
