Selling Car?

I am not 100% sure yet. But as the days go by and the more money I save up. I think about getting a new NEW car. Like a 2006 whatever. I really like my Cavalier and all, but I for once would like to drive around in something really nice.
Something wiht not even 100 miles on the odometer. So i'm thinking about selling my car :(. Just not sure what to ask. I will more than likely aim towards the young high school kids that just turned 16 that are looking for a nice fast (sorta) car that looks "cool". My question is, with the stuff I have on it and put into it, what should I be looking to ask for my car. $5k, $4k, or what?
Listed here are the parts I have on it....
72K miles,
18" Sport Max rims,
WAI,
Clear corner lenses,
Euro Tails,
Viper 771XV Alarm/Remote start,
Eclipse Deck,
(2) 12" Alpine Type S subs,
Diamond Audio AMplifier (900 Watt MAX),
Alpine Type R 5¼ and 6x9's,
B&M Shift Plus,
Aftermarket muffler with Magnaflow Hi-Flo exhuast,
tinted windows,
New spark plug and plug wires (AC Delco),
New alternator,
Optima Battery (Red Top),
Thought about putting on a Body kit before I sell it, to make it look like it is worth more. Hah! Not sure if that would work. But what do you Cavalier folks think?

.... too lazy for edit button.....
Reason being, i know i would be crushed seeing my car driven around by a punk ass abusing it. So by making it look like every other cav, it won't hurt so bad.

Yeah, plus you would probably get more for parting out. You wouldnt get much more with all that stuff, and I bet you could get more for it by selling all your aftermarket parts and the stock car.

dude...arent you the one that says you cant do mods to your car until you pay for your schooling..honestly i would just keep the cav for now and wait till your done school and have your career job..you still have a shit ton of years ahead of you to own a brand spanking new car..ive seen too many kids get themselves into dept cuz they have a money at the moment and feel like buying something with it..keep your current car..its dependable and its not 25+ thousand bucks..keep your car...drive the shit out of it or fix it up finish school and then buy a benz when your making 30+ an hour in whatever you wanna do in life...DONT get yourself in dept now cuz your gonna spend the rest of your time paying off that car and your gonna fuck yourself over in the end

I have to agree with him. I know of a guy in one of the local racing teams in my area who bought a Lexus IS300. He was in college full-time. He had to get 3 jobs just to pay for the thing. He was in school and work so much he just decided to sell it and buy something older. I believe he ended up getting a Honda prelude.

I wasn't thinking about a Lexus. More like a Grand Am, Grand Prix, Mustang, or SR/T Stratus. But I guess those are fairly pricey. But not to much.

doesnt matter how cheap they are unless your gonna buy something older or cheaper in price then your current car...point being..its not worth or smart to buy a new/newer car while your in school and basically working part time..you have a car now..your making it by..stick with it till cuz the longer you wait..the better the cars gonna be when it comes time to buying the new one
