spare tire removal (the doughnut)

I want to know if I can easily remove the doughnut tire off of my spare rim and mount a standard tire on it. Is the rim suitable for a standard trire?
I can handle standard tires with simple tools.

no, that spare is only designed to mount a donut sized tire.

Too add some detail:
The wheels for donut spares are made with thinner metal, so they don't have the durability of regular wheels. Plus the donuts are usually narrow, and so are the wheels - generally too narrow for regulat tires.
