The rotor is not turning so it must be a broken timing belt. What would be a good price to have the repair done keeping in mind its a 2.2L. 4 Cyl. and front wheel drive.

This the one you asked about almost 4 weeks ago? How urgent could it be?

1. We don't do urgent, sorry - we're volunteers here.
2. If it's the timing belt, and IF the motor isn't wrecked, depending where your Mom lives, and where she takes it to be fixed, it'll be a few hundred dollars. (The FWD part is irrelevant - ALL Camrys are FWD). The price isn't going to vary much from shop to shop. Most reputable shops use a standard book rate for the job.

Your motor is not wrecked, if the timing belt simply broke. All 4 cylinder Toyota engines are non-interference engines. That means if the timing belt does break, the pistons do not hit the valves and cause damage. The car just stops dead.
