2004 Cavy Dash Removal problem

ok im getting ready to paint my interior pannels on my 04 cavy and am having a problem with removing the dash cover, i removed the fuse for the airbag so it doesnt killme and i have all the screws and whatnot removed but the passanger side bag seems like it doesnt want to let me take off the cover , its like its attached to the cover, how do i get the dash cover off completely? is the plastic cover on the airbag supposed to come off with the dash cover? or will it stay behind? how do i get them seperated?
