well i don't know if anyone noticed but i haven't even touched these forums for a month or two....
My family and I moved to Florida pretty suddenly because my mom got a job offer there so i've had a month or so without internet capabilities and was so bored without it....i honestly really missed AF and i'm extremely happy to be back, and if you care here are a list of things that have happened...haha i don't feel like writing a big long story... :p
1. Joined the Navy.....no they don't have anal sex on the boat when they get lonely...
2. Got a new bike....Yamaha R1...
3. Going to Florida has opened up new babe opportunities.....puerto rican women are super hot....i don't know why minnesota doesn't somehow import them or something.....but glad they're here...
4. The hurricanes are a super big pain in the ass....they're like the energizer bunny...just keep going and going....
5. Last but not least got a new car last week...1995 Camaro Z28....Blacked out....

Wait. Have you actually received the check yet? A friend who was in the Army said the he got cheated out of his re-inlistment bonus. They told him $40k to reinlist, and he did, but when it came time for his bonus, they used a special formula, and his bonus came out to only $20k.

exactly...that's why i joined the navy...not to downtalk to army because they are some tough bastards in there, but they will say anything to get you to sign those papers at MEPS....i liked the navy because they said "you choose whatever suits you best...and we will give you the most money we can in WRITING".....and even though the Army has a great signing bonus to start off with my re-enlistment bonus after 6 years will be in the vacinity of 100k.....it's all about if you want the money now or later.... :wink:

EOD...hopefully after i work my way up to first class diver, i may try the BUD/S challenge....i just am going to try and get into the best mental and physical shape until my opportunity comes and try to kick some ass....but the drop out rate at BUD/S is 70%...yikes.. :licka:

Put the Superlite on the shelf and dive with the Mk5 helmet. That will get you into good physical shape. :D

EOD = awesome. My brother is an EOD Chief, currently in San Diego. He considered BUDs also, but decided against it. 1800 Seals, only 1200 EOD so it's a more exclusive group. According to him, EOD is easily the best job in the Navy.....so it seems you picked the right one.
