How bout this - - 97 blazer 4wd - in two high - When we put the car in gear the drive shaft turns and the car moves a little then there is a jerk and a loud clunk from the rear end. Then the car moves a little further and there is another jerk and loud clunk from the rear end. not driveable. It's the kids car and I'm begining to hate it.

Broken spider gears, in diff, or the locking g80 diff went bad, either way it is coming apart.

Sounds like your rear end gears is shoot. Be cheaper to check out a junk yard and just replace the whole thing.
