Wheel locks

Hey, my aunt works at a self storage place and they were auctioning off a 96 Civic with 17" Enkei rims on it, but no one bought it. She had me go look at the rims to see if I could put them on my Cavalier but all of the wheels have the locking caps on them, but there is no key to them. So my question is, is there a way to remove them without the key?

First off are they actually 5x100 bolt pattern? Because most, geh, hondas Ive seen have 4x100 patterns. Second it depends on what kind of "locking" we are talking about here.

If they are actual lock driven locks then you would need to take them down to a tire shop and have them do it, call in a locksmith or you can go with the extreme which is what I would do since its a damn honda and snap the post/posts.

If they are spline drive locks. AKA the lugs that use a wrench driven socket that hugs lines that go around the lug then you would just need to size it up and go either nab one from a tire shop or buy some lugs in a kit that come with that type of spline drive tool.

I still say snap the damn posts though but thats just me.

I don't know what kind of pattern it has because the center cap is the piece that is locked and I can't get it off to get to the lug nuts.

Try and take a pic of the lock if you can. If it is a lock I am familiar with I may be able to help you get it off without a scratch but I kinda need to know what Im looking at. Now that I know its the hub it could be any of 100+ different kinds of locking mechanisms.

100% sure all Civics are 4 bolt wheels...

90% sure all Honda cars are....

The studs can be drilled out if you cant get the wheel locks off. I had to drill out 4 studs on my car since I had internal spline lugs and they got rounded off. Went thru 4 drill bits and wasted about 2 hours. Im pretty sure even the SIs were 4x100

Thanks to everyone for the help, but one of the hubs was cracked and was only held together by bondo, so I pulled them all off. Now I just need to find the right size socket to get the locked lugs off.

:22yikes: The hub was actually being held together by bondo? Even if you mean JBWeld, that's nuts.

I got the wheels off yesterday but does anyone know if Enkei center caps are universal and fit any of their wheels?
