fast idle problem found

Had a fast idle problem after rebuilding the 1993 3 cylinder. I bought a complete engine gasket kit from a well-known parts store in the US for the rebuild. The new gasket between the throttle body and intake and it didn’t seal correctly (didn’t cover entire surface area on one of the outer edges). I didn’t notice it when I installed it. I destroyed the original gasket removing the TB and could not compare it to the new one.
