1990 lincoln towncar - where is the fuse for the cruise control? The cruise control does not work and there is no indicator on the dash when to say the cruise is on. Also are the controls located in the servo or is there a control module which receives all the signals and then sends the signal to the servo - I have power at the servo.

About 10 threads down, Bob3321 and his 1995 has a simillar problem.

For 1995 there's three power supply's that need checking. Your 1990 may be a different story though?

Do you have the Service Manual? There wasn't a CD version for 1990, the first one was 1992. fordcdsdotcom is currently hosting 1992 thru 2005 CDs/DVDs if you're interested.

Brake lights work & horn works. Have checked every fuse I can find and they all are OK. Tried all combinations of the on/off button and cruise set button but get no indication the the cruise is on. Have pulled the power wire to the servo and have power at 1 combination of pins. Took the servo apart and saw no issues or fuses. It looks like the servo only gets power on or off to move the cable but does not control the signal - it seems there is a speed control module someplace that takes the speed signal, on command, brake light signal, cruise control signals and tells the servo to increase or decrease the car speed.

All true. I don't know the 90 TC though.
