Any compression over 11.5:1 is going to be too high for pump gas. Even 11:1 is risky. When I have a 99 lude it did best with 95 octane that they sold at the pump is Massachusetts. Stay around 11:1 if you want to run pump gas

I run 11.5:1 with no pings what so ever.

Its all in the tuning.

I think high octane could handle 11-12, many estimates you find seem to play it safe

I've also heard that it's a good idea to get sleeves that close the deck for high compressions, but that's just what I've heard, I'm no honda expert.

once again please do not post unless u no what your talking about im not pointing any fingers. and you dont have to buy sleeves to close a deck they make block guards i know all that already im just not familiar with bumping the compression up is all trust me its gonna be bult up assume my motor is built and i just wanna no about the compression
so if you dont no please save yourself some time i no all the in's and out's i just would like some feed back from people that are running that high if possible or has built them that way.

THANX GUYS
