Hey, My buddy just bought a 2003 Volkswagen Wolfsberg Jetta with the 1.8T. We are looking into doing some mods to it. I've been reading through the forums and searching around and it seems to me that working with the turbo is the key to getting the most bang for your buck.

Now, to increase the boost on the stock turbo what do I need? I've been looking at boost controllers for this car, but i can't seem to find too much information on them. Just by installing a manual boost controller alone, would I be able to increase the boost?

Something like this is what I am looking at:

Get an intake and turbo back exhaust before upping the boost. And dont use a cheap way out boost controller to up the boost, get it chipped.
