I have an 1982 XJ1100 Maxim. It only has 14k miles and is clean.
I am the second owner and it only had 7500 miles on it when I bought it 2 years ago.
It is a full dress and a sweet ride.

Nice! I have a 94 XJ600S. Wonder if/how they are related.

Hello Folks,
Just got back into a bike after several years. Gotta tell the deal I fell into.
A friend at work helped his nieghbor empty a storage building in which were 2 bikes. He (my friend) wanted the Honda 360 and was telling me and some other guys about the other (POS) Yammaha. I spoke up and asked him to check on it for me.
Long story short..Bought an 82 Maxim 650 with sport fairing and travel trunk for $225.00 & spent $10.00 on carb cleaner and fresh gas for it to sit and idle in my carport.
Tags and endorsement coming Shortly.
There are still deals out there.
Later, Sporty 650 Max

Thanks, couldn't pass that up.
Went out today in Chattanooga, TN with 60 degree weather.
Choked it, rolled the handle and it fired up on it's own, no starter fluid.
I'm thinking a FEW tanks with full bottle of carb cleaner and a good tune up I will be good to go. Needs a back tire & a battery though. (run jumpers from my Firebird to start but runs on it's own)
