if it blew the first time you had one why would you want to buy another?

why not buy a kicker, mtx, punch, or another brand name amp?

out of curiosity...what exactly were you doing when it blew. Are you sure that it is "blown", or is it just a fuse. Most powerful amps have multiple fuses, and if even one blows the whole amp shuts off. Also, if you knew what you were doing you would have a fuse block from your battery to your amp...check those fuses. Tsunami isnt known for amps...they are more capacitors and other assisting devices, so my guess is that even though it may have had lots of power, it was a piece of shit because of who made it. I will say what Eclipsed said...why not a better, probably more powerful one. (kicker has a 2500 watt mono amp...if that isnt enough power i dont think you are alive)

sorry dude. Tried to search the net for you with no luck. Good luck finding the answer for your question, as far as fuzes go on an amp my amp is wierd it is 2500 rms and 3500 peak and it has no fuzes on it.

well i did a quick google search but i couldn't find anything. you could probably try ebay.

but you didn't answer rodbls' question. how do you know its blown? have you checked the fuses(if you have any)?

I did a google/ebay search, and couldnt find any Tsunami amp period. I looked at Tsunami's homepage, and they dont have any amps on there. Do you know how old this amp was? I have a tsunami 2 fahrad capacitor, and it's a piece of shit. Does anyone know if anyone makes upgraded alternators for our car? I know that i can get an upgraded alternator, but dont know if it will bolt on to factory location (i am looking for like a huge 250-300 amperage uprgade)

Note for anyone with power issues due to powerful stero applications:
The most effective way to improve your audio performance is to increase the power to your amps. This can be done most effectively by upgrading your alternator (stock ours only put out like 80 or so amps). I crunched some numbers, and for my stereo application (about 2500 watts rms for mids and woofer) I need around 250 amp from an alternator. Not only does under amperage cause your lights to dim, and possible cause amplifier clipping, it also can cause premature alternator failure. A capacitor can help, but only so much.

Another way to help is with a batter isolator. Note: Adding another battery without an isolator will do very little to help with under amperage because you are not increasing your alternator output. Make sure that if you add an isolator and additional battery that you get a sealed battery if you put it in your passenger compartment.

If anyone has any aftermarket stereo questions let me know, ive become pretty good at figuring out ways to make things work.

thanks anyways for trying yes i did check fuses thats not it i took it to the shop they are trying to fix it when its hooked up it pushes the subs out they said that some how the amp is putting pure power to the subs and it could be just a loose wire again thanks for the effort

Yeah could have just fryed a resistor. Fryed 3 in my amps about 3 months ago. Still waiting for cadence to fix it but oh well at least it is fixable.
