when i stop my car at a light, it stutters and vibrates pretty bad. Also i just had the gaskets replaced and fixed but my car still stays around the 3 to for range on the rpms... shouldnt it go down when i stop? WHen i release the brake on my car, the car doesnt slow down and i dont have it cruise.

I have a 85 T-bird that shutters when it is cold. I am trying to track that down too. What I found so far is that it could be the idel is set to low. Does it go away when it warms up?

It could be as simple a bad plug, vacuum leak or a transmission problem. When you had the gaskets replaced did they replace the head gasket? I had one go bad on me once and my oil/colant mixed and caused a bad shutter just before the head gasket blew and I had to rebuild the engine.

The idle problem I have also had. I adjusted the throttle actuator. You may also want to check the the throttle position sensor.

Not sure if this helps but it's all I know from my problems, hope it helps.

Mine does it only when I stop. If i put it in N and the idle goes up a tad it doesnt idle rough badly but its there. bad 02 sensor perhaps. still wondering if the bosche 02 sensors are alright to use on our cars. pretty much anything bosche sux.
