hi..
l got a 97 formula and took the car to a pontiac dealership and l wanted them replace my transmission mount. and they called me back after they check the car and they told me that your water pump is leaking, heater hose is leaking too.
and l asked the prices.. here they are (including labor)
water pump: $770.00
heater hose: $450.00
transmission mount: $250.00
l cannot believe this.. they asking too much l guess.. what do you think??
autozone would be cheaper right??

l just called autoze for these items.
they gave me price to replacing those items including labor is $450.00
but my wife says, autozone's labor is not as good as dealership and they have original parts.
anyway..

Personally, I'd do it myself, I hate paying the crooks at the dealership, but I'm cheap anyway, thats why I drive a 10 year old car. Seriously, hoses are fairly easy to change, water pumps can be a pain in the ass depending on the motor (try to change one on a quad 4...), and transmission mounts are not too bad as long as you can get under the car.
