Problem with new window motor???Help

alright, my window motor died so i went out and bought a new one..i installed it in my 98 trans am and for the first day it was fine somewhat...the next day i rolled down my window fine and when i rolled it up it went up then stoped and made a loud griding clicking noise..so i have to pull up my window a ltl bit then roll it up again..it 'll go ltl further then stop and make the same noise. The window goes down find..and starts to go up fine, until it hits that certain spot, gets stuck and makes that noise...does anyone know what the problem could be and how should i go by fixing it..??

when you said you replaced the window do you mean motor?
