'90 GSi Japanese Throttle Body?

Does anyone know what would be involved or if it would even be possible to install a Japanese spec. throttle body onto a U.S. model GSi?

My throttle body sticks something terrible where it rotates under the spring and I either need to fix it or replace it. Stopping at lights with the engine revving at 3K is not the coolest thing in the world! Anyway, it just happens that I put a Japanese engine in a couple months ago and I still have a complete Japanese intake complete with a throttle body. The Japanese Throttle body looks like a nicer unit, but the wiring is different. I don't know if it's just a matter of switching out the throttle position sensor or such, or if it's much more complicated. I would like to install the newer TB if possible.

The car is in another city right now and the Japanese TB is here, so I thought I'd ask. I plan to take the TB back with me when I go back to the car so I can look at it again.

Thanks!
