For some reason, I think I'll side with the team that DOESN'T buy their roster full of guys who want more money. I don't know, there's just something about a team that actually plays to play that just makes me like watching them :smile:.

No they wouldn't have!!!! Last year OMG i was fucking bawling. I kicked back a bottle of champange in like 10mins. And me and so other bosox fans went driving around screeming! I didn't sleep that night and couldn't stop grinning for like a week. I'm in Yankees country and none of these stupid fuckers could even come close to bringing me down. Somebody in my town climbed a massive radio tower and hung a "GO BOSOX!" flag from the top of it, and the cops were flipping the fuck out they came to the highschool and were like "we want to know who did this!!! this is a serious offense!" Fuckers. Now anybody wanna bet that next year it's the Cubs? Peace-

I dont like seeing sweeps either. I like drama of game 7s. Atleast the Sox can say they didnt get there by playing in the weakest division in baseball like the twins used to.

I watched game 3 until midnight and am glad I didn't stay up until the end 14 innings. Last night, I missed the ending of CSI:NY flipping over to the game and falling asleep until right at the very end about midnight I wake up and the thing is just ending with everybody running around the field. I was like "sox won series, time for bed"...

I wonder what winning team Andy Pettitte will play for next year...

The Cubs didnt even make the playoffs this yr. I dont even think they were close. Unless they make some serious off-season moves i can't see them in the world series next year.

I wasn't saying that the Cubs are going to win the world series next year. I was just showing the coincidental comparison between the Red Sox/White Sox and the Cubs.

i think Chicago should have let Houston won this one then the Sox should have won the fourth in Chicago. it would've been better. oh well.

It's amazing how many people i've seen around town since the playoffs started who used to wear cubs hats and now wear whitesox hats...i hate band wagon jumpers...
