I have had the worst luck with vehicles. We have a 2002 Dodge Durango in our driveway right now, but have not put anything in final. It seems to be a pretty decent vehicle, but I have never owned a Dodge. Is there anything that I should look for or be concerned about with this vehicle. I had a Chevy Venture that I am trading for the Durango. The venture has a intake manifold gasket defect that I learned (after spending over 800.00) is a VERY common problem in certain GM vehicles. Any thoughts, comments, concerns or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to get stuck with a piece of crap money pit again.

I have owned a Dodge Stratus and currently own a 2000 Durango.
I loved the Stratus and continue to love the Durango although I wish I would not have gotten the all time 4WD due to gas prices. I get about 13.7 in the City and 15 in the highway with the 4.7 liter engine.
Great vehicle that my wife and kids enjoy as much as I do!

I currently own 2 2002 Durangos. I used to own a 1996 Explorer Limited. I love my Durango's! I would reccommend them to anyone.
If you want good gas mileage however, buy something else :)
