Series Help

I Have a problem I need help on my 90 civicHB Dx
the car won't start i jump start it with a another car and it dont
work but if i push start it it turns on but when i turn it off
it does not start back up can anybody help me!!!!!!

Does the car crank when it is jumped? If not, it's the starter.

make sure all bettery terminals aretight. clean them too. then go turn on the headlights and leave it on for a while. if it dies or is dim then you need a new battery. or you can just put a multimeter to it and see if it reads below 11.5v.
