I just bought rims for my 89 civic hatch, 15X6.5 +35offset and i was wondering what would be the best tire size, i was planning to get 205/50/15 but some people told me it might rub and that also my speedo might be off. Thanks in advance for any input. :)

I personally run the 45's instead of the 50's

Why do u say 195? 205 will rub?

It depends on how low you are. Hatch fenders are rolled out nice so it may not even be an issue.

My car is not low yet, it's still stock height, but i thought that +35 offset would be an issue for 205 tires? Is that true. ANyone here running 205 with +35offset?

I'm running 205/45/17's with no problems. I even ran a 245/45/ZR17 before when I had a flat, it only scrubed when I hit a large bump at a higher speed.

I had 205/35/R16's, no rubbing at all, and it was lowered.
