2k Ford Taurus check engine light Code 1414.

Hello boy am I having a lot of trouble with my ford and I know it is something simple. 1st I just replace my electric feul pump because my sending unit was suppose to be bad on my old fuel pump. The car drives well and I just get an occasional bump from my transmission when backing up! I put the electric fuel pump in my car and it works fine but still I have the same problem as with the old one my check engine light is on the code read is 1414 and my fuel hand gauge will not read correct! Can some of you pros please help. I know what code 1414 is it deals with emmission control modular or pressure switch but where is it located on the car? I have 122,000 miles and the car runs well. I must confess I have been running out of gas a lot in the car and I also had broken pcv value which was sucking up my gas faster than usual and I finally realize it was because the hose was broke running from the pcv vaule. Help me please so I can enjoy my life and not keep trying to fix this car!
