W.I.P: GT-R Proto

Here is my newly progress project. I will be doing the same as the scratch drawing version. As I do believe Tamiya Will soon be release this as a model after this is on road. :rofl:

Sweet, I'm not surprised someone here is already working on one of these. Good luck w/the conversion, will be fun to watch the progress. I'm not sure I would have started w/the Z car vs. the Fujimi Skyline 350GT, but w/the amount of scratchbuilding involved to redesign the body it's not really going to matter much.

The body had redone, but still left a few minor error have to fix before I take few picts again. Here what I did to the interior, I take reference from the old 2001 GT-R concept and a little change on it.

so what have you got in mind for the drivetrain/engine?

i assume a modified 350Z engine but the drivetrain will be interesting to see what will happen.

Still got some uneven surface to finish, then I will start on my interior. I will be changing the rear spoiler into GT wing as I find the concept wing look like 350Z spoiler. :icon16:

I will try to fix up with R34 rear light, if not then it will be Sakatsu lens. As for the front, it will be scratchbuild and len cover will be using 350Z.
