Thoughts on Tien SS

Thinking about picking up a Tien SS kit for my car... cost what was it... 1900 for it... Was wondering what everyone thinks about it, and if they got any suggestions.
Also looked into a Haltech Computer, that was 1200. Plus tuning time.
Is it hard to tune a car with the Haltech Computer? As I really don't want to pay someone 85Dollars an hour for them to just rip me off.

I was quoted 1200 CND for the Tien SS kit, that is why I was looking at it.
