I have a Mx-3 Im planning to get a KLZE now my question is should I stay with my stock 5 speed tranny or should i get a ford probe 5 speed tranny

They're IDENTICAL.
I would suggest the 626 or MX-6 tranny, not because they are stonger (they're about the same strength), but because they have a longer final drive ratio of 4.388 instead of the MX-3 and Probes 4.11. This makes for about a 4-500rpm difference (lower) cruising in fifth. Better gas milage, and I think the ratios are better with the KL-ZE.
