Better Headlights in your Civic/CRX

Is this the place for this, a mini- how to?
This might be a pretty basic tip, but maybe it'll help someone. Plus it's free, quick & makes your lights work better and thus safer!
Not sure about later models, but on CRXs & up to '91 Civics, the headlights are pretty weak. What I did was to adjust them so they point further ahead instead of down at the road. Best done at night when you can see what effect it's having, preferably if the headlights shine on something at least 10 feet away.
Pop the hood & above each headlight there is an adjusting screw. Tighten it & see how the beam of light moves up? That's what you want. Don't go nuts & have them shooting at the stars, but just up a bit so they throw more light ahead instead of down. Make sure you have the left hand one dipped a little more than the left so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic. You're finished!
You'll see much better as your headlights will light up further away, especially good in places with no streetlights (but oncoming traffic & you can't use high beams), or rainy conditions. I've been flashed only a few times & use this as a guide that you're headlights are aimed a little too high & adjust accordingly.
