Here's another one you don't see every day. Finished in only 3 weeks, I built this one curbside with Aoshima Kranz Borphes rims and tires. Paint is Tamiya spray Metallic Red/Pearl White/Light Blue Metallic with Tamiya TS-13 clear. Centers of the wheels are painted Tamiya Gunmetal. At three shows entered this year, this car won two 3rd's, a 2nd, and one "Best of" award.
Enjoy!!! Marc

I always saw this car on one of my collector cards when I was younger. I always thought it was pretty cool, thanks for bringing back the memories! :D

Very nice!

Where have you been hiding?

If I hadn't had a basement when I was in Stillwater I wouldn't have been able to build in the summer...

Been busy with other stuff. Got a new Scion xB and spent most of the summer messing with that. It was too fricken hot and humid to paint this summer so I learned to cast some resin stuff.

I built the AMX in late Feb - early March before show season and finished the Cuda the end of March. I have some new projects going on so watch the forum for updates. Marc

Gosh I'm jealous of your interiors and the detailing. Can you please share how you make the gauges and also how you apply the flocking?

that looks great Marc! that first shot looks almost like a photo chop because of the 3 different colors, hahaha.

Looks very cool, I swear I've seen it already, has it been published? The only thing is the vertical separation lines seem unresolved with the the car. Nevertheless, fantastic work, great paint and the interior is incredible!

No it has not been published. The paint scheme was patterned after an actual car that Craig Breedlove drove to numerous endurance records back in 1968. Here's a link to the story: http://www.amx-perience.com/arecord.htm
The actual car has since been restored and was featured in a musclecar magazine last winter. The article was the inspiration for the build.
