i agree that i dont really like the blue but its not my car so if you like it keep it...get some headlight and tail light covers and it'd be looking pretty good.

i know how being broke is....i always manage to out spend my budget....i like the 93-97 interior a lot better than the 98-02! i like it and please dont listen to cuda and get black rims haha

on some black z28s the black rims look mean... trust me.... actualy I think there is a guy on here with a 98+Z that has black rims... and his car gets props all of the time...

yeah i've saw that car before on here and i dont think it looks bad....im just not a big fan of it.......seems kinda......ghettoish lol...for wheels i'd go with chrome z06 wheels instead in my opinion

Thanks for all the replies though guys... good and bad. I AM diggin the blue though... don't know why, but I'm stuck on that damned color! But yeah, next comes head / tail light blackouts, then a bra 'cuz I do so much highway driving my bumper's starting to look like crap. After that I'm thinking about doing some engine work. Any recommendations for a 170,000 mile 3.4 (Aside from "Get a V8")?

first off nice, your car loks pretty clean. I don't dig the blue but who cares lol, it's your car not mine.

I think that black rims might overdo it, black rims do look good (like black ZR-1's with the polished lip on my friend's 95, or the way the same rims woudl probably look on my car) but since your car is like 98% black already I think making it completely black might look bad.

For the engine, with that many miles you might want to rebuild it or pick up a spare engine... screw a v8 swap unless you LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the car because buying a z28 or t/a would cost a lot less, be a lot less hassle, and be a lot easier. you may want to check out www.fullthrottlev6.com for some GM v6 performance ideas.

Cuda, when you said black rims, thought you would mean the whole things. A good color to accent black would be gunmetal rims. Is it just me, or does your friend's maro look like a big acura integra?

There's different ways to design your car like if you're going for a muscle car look(chrome with white lettering), street racer look(cuda's friend), last but not least exotic look(corvette stuff). keep the blue, although the radio's face plate was a bit much. Why get blackouts? It's look's great as black and blue as it is(don't quote me on that)

Saw a hot ass 97+ Z28 all black with blackouts... I 'bout shat myself when I saw it... gotta get the blackouts. lol
And, the stereo face got hit 'cuz it's on it's way out, and pretty much just to see if I could do it without F'ing up the functionality of it. Plans are in place to get a new one.

the clear corners will accent chrome rims better IMO.. also not digging the blue.. but as everyone said.. your car. i used to have a red and black thing goin, but i did away with the red and went with chrome inserts on the back, taillight covers, and a 3rd brakelight blackout that lights up the word "Camaro"..
