Filter for air

I was surfing the bonneville forums and saw a pic of one under the hood with some filter for the air that goes into the car. The filter was all clogged up and wasn't blowing good.
My question is is there a filter like that on my 1990 eighty eight royale because it doesn't seem that its blowing too good.

you just have to unlock those to screw thingies and pull it out. make should that you dont ripe the filter, it might be pintched at the bottom. you should be able to see light throw it and it should be somewhat white. i usually use and aircompressor to blow it out some.

Where would this be on my car because it didn't appear to be in the same place as on the newer bonnivilles(standing in front of the engine, it would be on the far left side) I unscrewed tried looking under the black cover on either side of the compressor where the bonnies filter was but i didn't look too hard and couldn't find it.

UUGH.. Sorry i guess i should have specified. Its not the actual air filter for the eingine. It is a filter for the air that goes into the car as in air conditioning or vent or heater. I'm not sure my car has one but i do know air isn't coming out good at all. Maybe some of the ducting is not all connected good.

If I knew on your car, I woul have told you. I was just pointing you in the right direction.

I am thinking that my car has no filter for the cab. I took that black cover off and there was no indication of a filter. Its probally just the flap for hot and cold. I also noticed that the right side vents come out faster than the left side.
