Removing head rest(serious)

i seriously cant do it. i can do the ones on the rear but not the front. i just dont understand. the manual says to push that little button, and pull, but my front seat head rest doesnt have a button, and the head rest just won't budge past a certain point. this is a 1997 gls jetta. plz help i just got sum nice new racong seat coverse and they wont install with out removing the head rest!!!

It's the button on the headrest. You have to push the button when the head rest is down, then pull it all the way out. If that doesn't work... that's all I've got because it's only got one button on it. lol
