I have a 2003 Ford Ranger that I purchased three months ago. I started it this morning and it felt like the clutch was sticking a little. Now it won't engage at all; I press the clutch pedal and it makes no difference. Can it be anything other than the clutch is gone?!? Right now I am stuck here at work, got any possible answers?

ANY help is appreciated.

try checking for leak. most time you have hydraulic clutch. check fluid under hood. if still full. most time slave leaks. you may be able to fill and drive STRAIT home if not leaking that bad.

I tried adding some fluid to the reservoir, but it seemed full. I suppose I am taking it to a mechanic tomorrow. Does anyone know how much a problem like this might cost? What an awesome deal, 53,000 miles and I have to spend hundreds of dollars on repairs! My respect for Ford just dropped a little.
