ight guys sorry it took sooo long to repost what happend in the v6 vs gts. well everybody that replied was fuckin wrong sayin that the gts would beat me nope im sorry i beat him every time. from 0 to me beating him from a 45 roll 55 roll and 70 roll. the only time he won was when i missed 3rd and he had a car on me and when we finished my front was at his front tires

Then he didn't know how to drive. I've done this before multiple times in my wife's 2000 GTS. The V6 mustang gets smoked every time. Try to find someone who can drive.

lilpud, i believe you, its just that, well...your car is not as fast as a gt-s. Never have heard of a stock v6 mustang running a 14.7, but a member here has a gt-s that has done it

i no mine isnt faster in the long run cuz my shit has a speed limiter but we only got up to about 110 115 cuz traffic but the guy even said himself that if we went to the drag strip i would probly beat him

well guys theres two things to consider here b4 we start sayin stuff. his v6 mustang is not stock, he put heads and an intake on it. which i dont think would do to much actually but i could be wrong because the v6 already has pretty good heads in that year. two, many people talk about how slow v6 mustangs are that theyve beaten, but you have to remember that mid 90s v6ers only have like 150hp max, his has like 193hp,225ft-lbs tq. and lastly its a manual mustang, most v6 mustangs are auto that people run into and the auto in those years was really slow, almost like it was built to rob hp.

so lets say a stock gts can run a 14.7, maybe the guy on here is an exceptional driver and maybe thats unusually fast for a gts. the v6 stang should be mid 15 stock, but has a few mods, so maybe both cars run low 15s. i could posibly see it happening.

Waste of gas. I have smoked 3 or 4 V6 mustangs and don't need to do it again.

Kind of like with my Spyder......after you smoke the same type of car multiple times, there is no need to keep doing it.

yea thats definatley bs my dads v6 mustang was slow as hell before he put the blower on there like a high 15 or low 16 stock. So I dont think that would hang with a high 14 low 15 second car

i haven't had a good run in w/ a v6 stang....ever, so i really don't kno how fast they are, its possible you as a driver beat him, however i'd love to see a video and mod list of both cars

Well, from this thread I can only say one thing from my perspective. I raced a v6 Stang in my Civ. 3 people, including myself, against the stang with a driver and his girlfriend going up hill. He was ahead by 2 cars for a moment, and in 3rd gear I caught up and past him by mid 4th gear. I'd imagine my Civ runs mid to low 15's. And yes the stang was a manual drive car. So...I'd like to see what the deal is with these two cars...
