single turbo install

hey, i own a 04 mach1.. a couple of mods already, X-pipe, cai with k&n filter.. im seriously thinking of installing a single turbo system.. many ppl have told me i need supporting internals ( example : 03=04 cobra pistons and rods to be able to hand 600hp) can i have any feedback to this info.. can i run a single turbo system with stock internals? or do i need supporting mods/diff. internals

Depends on the turbo.
If you get a quick spoolin turbo, fairly small, you should be OK. If you are going for a bigger one, like my T76, I would say you might need to upgrade.
