70 coil wire problem

Does anyone know the correct tool for removing a wire from the back of the firewall feed through to the fuse block? I burned the white coil wire right at the feed through(I thought the points stuck but they seem to be ok). I was planning on replacing the wire any way so I can install a HEi . I tried to release it with a Matco removal tool, but it wont budge. Is it soldered in? Any help would be appreciated!
