Interior lights won't go off 2001 intrepid

The interior lights on my 2001 intrepid won't go off. Doesn't matter if my car is on or off. I have to disconnect the battery to get them to go off.

if they stay on all the time, you probably have a power wire shorted to power. I had the same thing happen to me on a vehicle I was working on, inside the A-pillar, driver's side, there was a power wire that was shorted to power on the frame of the A-pillar, that's where I've seen the problem at on most LH style cars. That's a starting point, though that might not be the exact location of the problem.

Had the same problem with my `96 Intrepid , turned out to be the interior light switch in the door frame , Driver`s door if I remember correctly, 10 or 15 bucks for new one
