I need to know before I buy a 2002 Maxima SE (loaded, 6-speed, SWEEET) if the back windows can ever be completely lowered. Right now, they only go halfway down- I have a Lab who's going from an SUV to this new car and HE wants to know if there's a way to override that and let the windows completely down and up.
Will be buying within a couple of days! Thanks, y'all! :)

I have a 4th gen max and i can't lower my back windows all the way down because of the wheel wells are in the way.

It's probably the same reason why the windows can't be lowered all the way down on the 5th gen.

My dogs went from a dodge durango to my 03 Maxima. The only difference they know is that there's less room in the back. My smaller dog (30lb basenji) puts his paws on the armrest and sticks his head out (remember window lock) and my border collie has no trouble putting her head completely out the rear windows with her paws on the seat.
