92 Grand Am starting Problem

I have a 92 Grand Am V6 with 185,000 miles on it. It has been a really great car, but now I have a problem. When starting, the car acts like the battery is dead. When I turn the key back and forth several time to the start position, the starter findly gets enough juice to turn over (though very slowly). I had the battery and the alternator checked out with no problems found. I think it might me a wire somewhere with high resistance. I can get it started everytime, but is just very slow. Any suggestions or experience with this problem??
Thanks,
Joe

Check your starter wire connections for corrosion and tightness...If that's good and the battery is full charge the starter/solenoid is a likely culprit

Also check the switch in the steering column, sometimes they do fail, and I do believe there is a recall on them 92-95 all cars, but not too sure about it.
