Maybe buying a crx, opinions

There is a guy around here selling an 88 crx:

$1,000, CRX '88 - Body kit, exhaust, Euro tail lights, CD plyr, clean, no rust, low mi's. $1,000/bst ofr.

That seems awfully cheap for a rex. Anything I should look for? what's different electrical, interior from my 90 si hatch? if its an AT, it's out of the question. but if its not, you think this could be something I could maybe sell later or part out and make money off of? I'm just trying to find some ways to make some extra cash. Hell, if it's kinda nice I may keep it and fix it up a little for a daily driver (take some strain off my hatch). Obviously I'm going to see if he has the stock tails and body parts, because I would rather they be on, unless it's a nice kit. How hard would the dx->pgmfi conversion be? Thanks for any input.

I say you take it to a mechanic and find out if there is anything up with it because simply the mods you listed are pretty expensive. A friend of mine bought an '87 CRX for $1800 a while back, and it runs good but its got 180,000 miles on it. His CRX is bone stock though. So figure it out, its your call

buy it....you could part it out for more cash if it doesnt run right.
