I don't think that a 1990 model car came with OBD1 so you would need to get the computer and wiring harness as well. If you get an engine built after 98(?) you will need an OBD2 ECU and harness. As for the engine fitting into the engine bay you should have no problems in doing it. Good luck.

I got another question to ask.
I got the 90 integra RS, and I found a 1992 Integra GS engine for sale at an auto wreckers, will that work with mine or will I need another ecu???
will it be a bolt on operation???

The RS, GS, and LS all have the same motor. If the GS you were looking at has less miles, then yea by all means get it, but other wise, it's the same motor, hp wise, it's still a 1.8L DOHC NON VTEC B18A1. The Best GSR motor that would fit in would be the B17A1 from the 92-93 but those are really hard to find. If i were you, i would just drop in a B16A into the teg and it would be like a RSi/XSi in japan because those models in japan came with the B16A. Good luck on whatever you do.

if you're switching over to a vtec motor, then you're either going to have to switch the ecu's or get a vtec controller.
