When running down the interstate the engine surges and the tach jumps a couple of hundreds, it seems very prevelent when i hit large bumps. I took it to the tranny shop and they changed the filter and fluid, and check everything else and of course they could'nt duplicate the problem. It doesn't seem to do it at low speeds.
I have a 98 dodge ram 2500 360/ 4x4 any ideas would be appreciated
Thx

Change your Throttle position sensor. It causes your torque converter to unlock when its getting worn out. It fixed my surge problem.
