2004 fuel filter change when?

The dealership said it was supposed to be changed at 15,000 but it just does not seem right. Seems too soon. What did you do? There is not anything in the manual about this but they have a flyer that they use to try to get you to do "rountine" tasks. When did you change yours?
Thanks!

I changed mine for sure at about 49,500mi. I say for sure because I did it myself, before the dealer did all the work, so Im not sire if they changed it or not. The service manual says 30k, so youre probably ok to change it then.

30k, out of the owner's manual.

Where did you get a service manual? My owners manual does not have service manual inside it.

the owner's manual has service interval recommendations in the back, they always have.

Yep, that was the initial source of my info until I bought the GM service manual on DVD off eBay last summer.
