Wierd problem

I plugged in the small auto heater (which I have used before on my civic as well as other car) in the cigarette lighter, the heater fan came on for a second, and then died. Several inserts to the socket did not start the auto heater. Circuit breaker is fine for the lighter as well as radio.

Since then my sterio stopped working - No power to sterio.

Did you check all the fuses?

Thanks Marc-OS for replying. Upon close examination of the fuse, it looked intact, and hence I did not change it yesterday. I changed the fuse anyway, and the problem went away.
