a VR4 spyder with 44,000 miles for 6000, thats insane ive contacted him to see what the deal is if its for real i will have a shiny new vr4 in about 1 week.

that's awesome... I hope it all works out... wish I had the kinda money to throw around into getting a couple of cars (what am I saying, I've got 3, lol... only my Stealth is running, one has blown head gasket (parting out 95 Escort 1.9l) the other transmission is screwed up (1990 Toyota Corolla hatchback, a rebuild is sounding good)...

The link isn't working for me....but I've seen scams where they're selling super cheap cars (VR4s, Supras, etc etc) before so be careful. They would say that the car is in another country right now and if you deposit the money, then they will have it shipped over to you. So yeah, if you get something like that then most likely it's just a scam. If not, you are one lucky fellow and have to post pics!!! :biggrin:

Don't be stupid. If you watch Ebay, you'll see '97 TT Supra's for $6000, brand new Hummers $10000...they're all scams. They usually get closed by Ebay. But people are stupid enough to think they're getting an amazing deal and send money for the big surprise of the seller disappearing.

i've seen the exact same post about 5 times in about as many months. I bet i can find an old post, copy/paste the guy's email message, and it will be exactly the same. Let me guess....he has it in europe or something and can't register it or something, so he's selling on the cheap to just get rid of it. right?

Usually when I find those scams on Ebay, I email the guy and ask him why he's trying to scam someone.

Yup the guy sais hes outa the country on buissnes and he said he removed the listing due to a high response rate requesting trades, hes lying so yea anyway.

I'd contact him and just mess around with him. It'd be funny lol

Wow, nice story your tryin to give us here, do u even know what your talkin about? no offense man but - first u start a post of hey i found this an say ive contacted him to find out if its for real, then in your next post u say - i havnt contacted him yet, then u say u contacted him 5 mins after u said u didnt an got a response in less than ten mins.

Sorry im retarded, what i meant by all that is, when i first posted i had e-mailed him he had not responded then i checked my email and he had. at that point what i meant by saying i hadnt contacted him, is i had not called him like he requested.

ive been in e-mail correspondance with a few of those guys before. its amazing how long theyll talk you making excuses. ive probably gotten up to 10-12 replies before, and then when i get bored, i jsut ask them if anyone actualyl ever falls for this stupid scam, cuz theres no way im sending any money with out seeing the car. at that point they stop replying.

if its true you better get it before i do ;)
