Hello,
I've got a possible Trade going for my current vehicle and trade it for a 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T Dual Turbo AWD.
I have talked with the owner and he has e-mailed me pictures.

This is what I know:
It has a small 5" dent in the Divers Rear 1/4 panel.
Has 161,000 Miles.
Everything power works
5 Speed
Red Paint in GREAT Condition
Black Leater Interior, (No rips, Tears etc.)
Has new tires.
Has Stock Dodge Chrome Rims

I 've always loved these cars since they were produced.
On an American car, 160K miles would be alot, but how does the Dodge/Mitsubishi measure up?

I also have been told (maybe a rumor) that the Stealth has to have a "Tune up" every 60K miles and at the dealer, this could run upwards of 3K!

Any opinions/Stories you'd like to share would be welcomed.
I can be reached at : [email protected]
or you can post here.
Thanks!
Roger

Well it does have to have a 60k done at EVERY 60k, and then every 120K also has to have the oil pump done. It costs about $1-$1.5k to get this done (at the dealer anyways)

there is a guy on www.3si.org that has a dodge stealth that just rolled over 400,000 miles on it. and the only thing that has gone wrong with it is that it's on it's 2nd clutch now.

The important thing is how well the car has been treated. I would recommend to take it for a test drive, go through all the gears on the tranny to make sure they aren't grinding. test the clutch to see if it's slipping, etc. test all the electrical aspects of the vehicle. look underneath the car for any leaks. look under the hood for any leaks, smells. Just do a throrough check of the car. I wouldn't be worried about the 160k miles on the car as long as it's been treated good. Good luck with the purchase!
