What up guys just a quick question...A buddy of mine handed over a Borla Muffler which he paid for $250.00 new stainless steel. My question is does anyone have any experience on Borla on a Honda? How does it sound? Anyone know of a link that I would be able to follow to hear what it sounds like first? I don't really want it to be really loud but I would like it to sound nicer than stock? thank in advance guys. Oh one more question I just got the car about a week ago, does anyone know at what RPM range does the Vtech Kick in? Thanks guys.

What kinda model is the car ex.dx,lx,hx?

Borla makes good products more fit for american cars/ muscle cars for exmpale vipers vetts and my old dodge neon lol. I had a Borla on the Neon and it sounds raspy untill you got on the gas it was lous but still the car did not sound like it had power. There products you won't usually find on import cars such as civics.

Borla is one of the best makes of mufflers I've yet to hear one not sound good on a nice healthy car.

*find me a muffler that sounds good on a crap car*
Borla stingers on a cammed Ls1 now thats just music.

Vtec :icon16: and it kicks in around 4k.
No place where you can here it on a civic. Try it out what does it 60 cost bucks to have it welded? If you dont like it work a few hours overtime to make up for your loss. The best exhaust on the 7th gens are Magnaflow and Invidia. Go get yourself an intake. It will sound real good on your car.

No doubt I had the 87 stang when I was in college. So yea an intake, what we here will vouch for is AEM simple easy gets the trick done. You wont see HP gains but the car will sound nice. Cold air intake CAI will set ya back around 200$. Work on appearance as well dont worry to much about the engine cause every mini van will still wip your ass. Try to maybe get some rimz and lower the car, a nice lip in the front. I wasted all my loot on my old civic, intake headers pullys no cat exhaust everything I could buy and the car sounded fast but it didnt go anywhere.

Ace is right its a good company great products but you need the horses to make it prrrrr. I'm sure it will sound fine on your car. It will not have that deep base sound but it also wont sound cheap and ricey. It will just be a lil bit louder then stock and if you had an intake and got on the gas I'm sure the 2 combined will give you a suitable sound. Like I said above try it out it does not cost much if you were to change your mind down the road.

i liked my apexi ws exhaust....nice quiet, even at off idle....even when u floor it, does't sound raspy...just straight through engine singing....maybe the problem wasn't you spending all your "loot"....maybe the problem was you weren't making enough of it to use.... :uhoh:

You want kick ass sound and push past 4500 rpm just plug in ur exaust , short ram, definatley headers and im still checking 4 high flow catylitic converter, when u do thiese things at once the impact is much greater , when i got my springs i also installed tokico shocks 4 rear and struts for frong along with swaybars for front and rear aswell again instant atleast stage 2 suspension ye heard! unless u live in warm climate or own a smooth race track 4get coilovers.
